2009 vintage: A year characterized by fairly varied and moderately unstable weather; the winter was cold but not extremely frosty, with rare occasions when the temperature dropped below freezing. Spring was characterized by heavy rains and temps alternating with almost summer-like days. The summer was very rainy, but temperatures remained average, promoting good grape growth and ensuring an abundant, high-quality harvest.
Amarone della Valpolicella annata 2009 di Marco Provolo
Un vino complesso, equilibrato e armonioso, che regala un’esperienza unica di puro piacere. It elegantly blends power and sophistication, mixing intense dark fruits and cherries in spirit with sweet herbaceous and spicy accents, creating an irresistible appeal from start to finish. A riot of scents that mixes a dry, harmonious flavor with a tactile sensation that feels soft and velvety in the mouth.
The color is ruby red that tends to garnet as it ages, but dense with vivid luminosity despite aging.
The richness of nuances that can be seen in the tasting of this elixir makes it unnecessary to combine with dishes. Absolute protagonist when served, fantastic meditation wine worthy to take place at the end of an important dinner.
A wine that gives an unforgettable emotion.
