It is in the most absolute way a wine of extreme structure and aromatic complexity; Cantina Provolo’s Amarone della Valpolicella 2010, embodies the majesty, exuberance and complexity of the terroir from which it comes at 360°. Full and velvety, with a soft but firm tannic structure; the flavor is rich and persistent, with a pleasant note of warmth due to the high alcohol content present; the enveloping scent of ripe fruits, such as plums and cherries, mingles with spicy and sensual notes of vanilla and chocolate, creating an irresistible bouquet that anticipates the richness of the taste. What makes this wine unique is its ability to evolve over time. Over the years, its flavors are enriched and deepened, providing a new and fascinating experience with each sip.

Harvest 2010

The 2010 vintage of Amarone della Valpolicella was quite difficult due to unstable weather, characterized by very cold temperatures and heavy rains in the spring period and excessive heat spikes in August. But fortunately (unlike other areas of Valpolicella that have encountered a negative harvest) the microclimate present in our vegnenti and the stable ventilation, due to the medium-high hillside position in which they are located (350 m above sea level), have allowed the production of exceptional wines, such as this Amarone, which has truly remarkable structure, tannic power and intensity.

Wine color

The color is ruby red that tends to garnet as it ages, but dense with vivid luminosity despite aging.

Pairings

The wealth of nuances that can be grasped when tasting such an elixir makes it unnecessary to pair it with dishes. Absolute protagonist when served, fantastic meditation wine worthy of taking its place at the close of an important dinner.
